After retiring as a captain in the Air Force, Jim Gilliland was looking into his next endeavor. With his master’s degree in Business Administration, he made the transition into real estate. Since 1992, he has grown from an individual agent to a powerhouse real estate team leader, achieving numerous awards and recognitions along the way. Jim has been the #1 combined residential sales agent in the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors since 2005, participating in the sale of over 3,000 homes exceeding $300 million in sales volume.

Dane is a long time local to the area and has extensive knowledge on the Florida Panhandle. He is accredited with several impressive certifications and designations, some of which include Military Relocation Professional, Seller Representative Specialist, and Resort & Second Home Specialist. Within the last 3 years, Dane has sold over 150 properties, with a sales volume of over $35 million. Dane works hard for his customers to ensure they are getting the best price, whether buying or selling. He and his team specialize in residential primary, secondary, and income producing properties.

Diana Aho

Born and raised in California, Diana began her career working in marketing and the title business. She spent several summers vacationing here along the Emerald Coast. Diana fell in love with the area and made plans to move here with her young family. After settling in Shalimar, Diana went to work part-time at a local real estate company. One day, a local Realtor walked into Diana’s office wearing a red, white, and blue jacket with a huge RE/MAX balloon on it to meet with another agent. On that day she met Jim Gilliland, and he soon talk to her about a position as his Listing Coordinator. She’s been an invaluable member of the Gilliland Team since 1999!

Diana has been involved with all aspects of selling real estate – from placing signs on properties, taking listing photographs, and negotiating contracts. Working mostly with sellers, Diana communicates with our clients throughout the sales process, giving feedback on showings as well as keeping them informed of market conditions. She has worked with sellers through many different markets and really cares about each seller’s situation. Many of our sellers walk away from the selling process having sold a house and gained a friend.
